How many times do you go through a day as a mom, wondering things like:
- Am I really making a difference in my child’s life?
- Will I ever get my own life back?
- What’s the point in all this stuff called motherhood?
- Do I really matter?
While it’s easy to get stuck in the minutia of daily living with children, Faith and I wanted to give you a small glimpse into the future–a little picture of how you really do make a difference in the life of your children.
Certainly, I can remember days when I thought bedtime would never arrive and times when I just wanted to be left alone. But by being faithful and doing the things I knew I needed to do, I have received blessings and treasured moments.
I wouldn’t trade being a mom for anything. And who knows? Maybe you are in the process of raising children who will become some of your best friends as adults. That’s what happened for me.

A happiness analogy -- searching for happiness Sometimes I think the harder we look for happiness, the more elusive it can be. It's like searching for Mr. Goodbar. But if we just sit quietly, appreciating and in the moment, it sneaks up on us. That's not to say that we don't have to work at it or......
