I got this idea from Facebook. Here are some random things you may or may not know about Faith.

1. I am married to a wonderful computer genius husband.
2. I met my wonderful computer genius husband on the internet. (Long before such things as eHarmony and online dating. I saw that he was majoring in psychology at the time and so was I. We started talking and the rest is history).
3. I am the oldest of five kids. I am 16 and 18 years older than my youngest brother and sister and got lots of judgmental looks when I used to go out in public with them.
4. I have two wild and crazy lovable boys and one little princess.
5. When I was in first grade, some of my classmates thought my name was “Face.”
6. I am double jointed and I can touch my tongue to my nose.
7. I love to watch my children sleep.
8. I am so thankful that there will be no need for exercise in Heaven.
9. I love Sign Language and someday hope to be fluent enough to start a deaf ministry at church.
10. I am not a fan of spiders and snakes but my greatest fear is fear of the unknown.
11. I am a Do-It-Yourself kind of gal. I have climbed on our roof and fixed a leak, fixed our sink and dishwasher, and took care of a black snake that I found on top of our washing machine.
12. I homeschool our children and wouldn’t change it for the world.
13. I hope to one day finish my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy.
14. I like to make my own candles.
15. I cannot stand when people laugh when nothing is funny. Not at a joke or even if they genuinely think something is funny. Like in regular conversation or to cover up being rude by laughing at the same time.
16. I love that when my six-year-old says goodbye he always says the same thing: “Bye, Mama. I love you unlimited. Love you, hugs & kisses. I love you more than anything in the whole wide world.” Every time one or both of us leaves the house, his goodbye is always the same…and it makes me smile every single time.
17. I hate that I’m not better at keeping in touch with my friends that have moved away. I’m hoping to do better at that.
18. I am totally content staying at home. Sometimes the constant noise from children causes me to yearn for quiet but it doesn’t bother me to stay at home. Grocery shopping and trips to Walmart are one of my least favorite things about being a mom.
19. I’d like to write a book one day. In the meantime, I’m working on blogging.
20. I can genuinely say that my dad is the smartest man I have ever met.
21. Second only to my husband, I consider my mother to be my best friend.
22. I use my parents as my example for so many things in life including “How to be Godly Parents” and “How to Have an Awesome Marriage.”
23. I am a die-hard romantic. I love romantic movies and sappy love songs.
24. I gave birth to both our boys at home with two midwives. Our oldest weighed 11lbs. 2oz. Yes, it can be done but I don’t recommend it! We adopted our daughter and have had her since the day she came home from the hospital. I am having so much fun buying pink and doing her hair.
25. I am thankful to have such a loving family and I’m so glad we all have a close relationship.

I found this fun quiz about husbands on Facebook today and thought it would be fun to share with you.

Tell you what: I’ll list the questions, then I’ll have Faith and I answer after each one.

This Old House or a sporting event

- CSI

He always gets ranch with no cheese sprinkles

- Ranch, no croutons

3. What’s one food he doesn’t like?

He can’t stand Parmesan cheese. He says it smells worse than vomit

- BBQ Chips. I just learned that about him this week.

4. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order?

Sweet tea

- Water mostly. Sometimes sweet tea.

5. Where did he go to high school?

Englewood High School in Jacksonville, Florida

- Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Florida

6. What size shoe does he wear?

8.5 D

- 12 Wide

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?

Books (no surprise on this one)

- Computer parts (Do you need any? Please come take some.)

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?

Philly Cheese steak

- Boar’s Head Ultimate Sub from Publix

9. What would he eat every day if he could?

Fig Newtons with a glass of milk

- Steak

10. What is his favorite cereal?

Great Grains with raisins, dates, and pecans

- Same favorite cereal

11. What would he never wear?

Speedo swim trunks

- White jeans

12. What is his favorite sports team?

Florida State

- Atlanta Braves I guess. It used to be Orlando Magic when he lived in Florida.

13. Who did he vote for?

He’s a republican

- Republicans

14. Who is his best friend?

That’s easy—me

- Me, of course

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn’t do?

Not make a decision when he wants me to

- Leave cabinet doors open or leave the toilet lid open. (The LID, not the seat. Why this bothers him I’m not sure.)

16. What is his heritage?

German descent

- He’s half Puerto Rican

17. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake?

Poppy seed with no icing

- German Chocolate

18. Did he play sports in high school?

Nope. But he watched me play a bunch of them

- He played soccer but that was before high school.

19. What could he spend hours doing?

Reading–and he does!

- Working on computers

20. What is one unique talent he has?

He can fix just about anything. And if he doesn’t know how, he’ll read about how to do it.

- He can fix any piece of technology.
